Cliff is the leader of KPMG's U.S. Shared Services and Outsourcing Advisory practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in helping enterprises deliver improved business performance.
Cliff has an extensive background in shared services delivery model design and operations. As a management consultant, Cliff has led strategy, transformation and operational improvement initiatives for numerous enterprises spanning IT, HR, Finance and other corporate services. Cliff and his team have developed KPMG's Global Business Services (GBS) framework, which provides KPMG's clients with the market perspective, data, tools and resources to source, integrate and transform back and middle office functions to improve overall operating effectiveness.
Prior to joining KPMG in 2008, Cliff was a managing director at EquaTerra and focused on enterprise shared services improvement and globalization. In 2011, Cliff led KPMG's acquisition and integration of EquaTerra. Prior to EquaTerra, he held a number of roles in operations, marketing and management consulting.
Cliff is a frequent contributor to industry research and innovation initiatives. Cliff leads KPMG's innovation efforts to integrate disruptive technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence into back and middle office operations.

Chris has been CEO of Appirio since its inception, guiding the technology-enabled services company to become one of the thought leaders in cloud computing. Chris brings extensive operations, consulting, professional and technical experience to Appirio, and has grown the company to more than 1,000 cloud experts across five global locations. He has been named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and has been recognized by the New York Times for his leadership philosophy.
Previously Chris served as CIO and SVP of business operations at Borland Software, where he pioneered the company’s move to an on-demand IT applications architecture. Before becoming Borland’s CIO, Chris also served as the company’s SVP of worldwide services, managing and growing the company’s global consulting, education, and technical support organizations (organic and acquisition growth) by 45 percent between 2004 and 2006.
Prior to this, Chris was SVP of global customer services at webMethods, where he managed a team delivering services to over 1,000 customers running mission–critical integration applications. Chris also served as managing director of W.W. Grainger’s Consulting Services division, an early pioneer in e–commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and also studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.

Prior to Infor, Phillips was President of Oracle Corporation and a member of its Board of Directors. During his seven and a half year-tenure, the company tripled in size and successfully acquired 70 companies. Prior to Oracle, Phillips was a Managing Director in the Technology Group at Morgan Stanley, where he was an Institutional Investor All Star for ten consecutive years.
Before his 18-year career on Wall Street, Phillips was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps in the 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines artillery unit. In 2012, Phillips was the guest speaker at the Marine Corps' 237th birthday ball for his old unit, after their return from Afghanistan.
Phillips holds a BS in computer science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a JD from New York Law School, and an MBA from Hampton University; he is also a member of the Georgia State Bar.
Phillips serves on the Boards of Viacom Corporation, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York Law School, the American Museum of Natural History, the United States Air Force Academy Endowment Fund, Posse Foundation, and his family foundation, Phillips Charitable Organizations. Phillips also served on the Obama Administration's Economic Recovery Board, led by Paul Volcker.
